There are many great alternatives to Raspberry Pi's popping up all over the place.

Here are a few Single Board Computer (SBC) manufacturers we discovered trying to find something that would run a Nextcloud server, or a KODI media center.

Orange Pi

O Droid

Pine64 (ARM & RISC V)

Libre Computer

RockPi (ARM & Intel)

LattePanda (Intel)

Milk V (RISC V)

BeagleBoard

Most of these single board computers will may very likely NOT run Nextcloud, but they do have potential to replace Raspberry Pis in many other areas.

Is it time to dump the Raspberry Pi?!

Rob Braxman says what many of us have been thinking for a while. With the price of Raspberry Pis going through the roof, it makes more sense to buy an Intel based mini computer that has more power, and runs Linux better, plus you may very well remove the China supply chain issue.

Rob Braxman does forget another reason to drop Raspberry Pi, and that is the unfortunate reality that Raspberry Pi promotes woke cutural Marxism with rainbow colors all over it's logo.
